In March 2010, Applied Sciences Group was contracted by Tomophase, a opto-medical device company located in Burlington, MA to assist in the software design, verification and validation of their non-invasive Optical Coherence Tomography Imaging System (OCTIS)

Effective December 10, 2010 the OCT device has received FDA 510k clearance.
